BIOGRAPHY

Geraldine Thomas holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary -Special Education from LaSalle University, and an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Community College of Philadelphia. Geraldine has worked in the community with children from birth and up and their families for over 25 years. She has informally and formally worked with families therapeutically. Geraldine has worked with people from many ethnicities, cultures, and religious affiliations. She is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, families and groups to reach a place of wholesomeness based on Family Systems therapeutic principles and practices.

 

Farida Saleem-Boyer is a Marriage and Family Therapist providing individual, couples, family and group counseling. She is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College with a Master of Science Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Farida Saleem- Boyer’s professional experience is extremely diverse. She has worked as an elementary school teacher, emergency therapeutic staff support, housing resource coordinator and a residential advisor for teenagers with behavioral deficits. Her previous experience provides her with greater insight to potential problems and/or issues that a client may experience. She is a proud native of Philadelphia who is currently involved in providing numerous community and civic endeavors, and has provided a multitude of services to family residing in the area over the past 20 years. Her approach to therapy includes building healthy relationships by providing support, empathy, and a willingness to listen.
